The simplest and the easiest way for us to do online publishing is WordPress. Like blogger (mvdisability.blogspot.com) addresses, wordpress too gives away free service similar to blogger which is “mvdisability.wordpress.com” BUT it has disadvantages as with any free service. We cannot use the plugins! Which I think is very important to run a this blog.

So, I’ve hosted it in one of my own domains which helps a lot in achieving this goal. Features like “Calendar”, “Guestbook”, “Polls” and even Printer friendly layout is currently achieved using “plugins” feature in WordPress. I hope this answers the question of why it is on “.siph.net”
